Hello. My name is Mikli.

I like eating the whipped cream off the top of my drinks. I put lots and lots black pepper on almost everything I eat. I write on myself, partly because I can’t draw, partly because I’m bored, and mostly partly because there’s something I just can’t say. Or I could really just be bored, which happens sometimes. I love the mornights, and breakfast is a foreign entity to me. I love to love. I live to love. I love to live. Life is always wonderful, even when it’s not. Laughing is my favorite hobby. I like onions when they’re raw and crunchy. I love music, and I love playing it even more, but I’m too shy to let other people hear me. There are times when all I want is for someone to just hold me. I’m afraid that a random ghost will pop out from the closet, but I’m not afraid of forevers. I have to sleep with a blanket, no matter how hot it is. (I love napping.) I write with my right and make one-handed rubber band stars with my left. I believe hugs are the best cure-all, and you can never have too much or give too many. (Kisses, too.) I cry sometimes, and it hurts, but I love it when I do. I love a good cry, and a good cry doesn’t have to mean waterfalls of tears and lots of noise, as long as it does its job. My heart breaks when apostrophes are used incorrectly. My heart breaks when yours does.

Mikli is a sophomore currently taking up BA Psychology in the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She lives at home with her family, two dogs, and the cat she wishes she has.
